Catalog service setup

To configure the GeoNetwork Enterprise component providing GIS and Mapping Services:

  1. Navigate to your GeoCat Live catalogue using the URL provided by email: https://instance.geocat.live/geonetwork

  2. Sign in using the credentials from your email.

  3. Navigate to Admin console ❯ Users and groups.

    • Select Administrator user.

    • Press Reset, and provide a new password for the admin user.

    • Fill in name, surname, email and organization details.

    Press Save.

    Note

  4. Visit the Admin ❯ Settings page to personalize the catalogue.

    • Use the Catalog description section to provide catalog name and Organization.

    • Use Catalog server to fill in the host information for your service.

    Use Save settings at the top of the page apply these changes.

    Tip

    Navigation aids are provided at the bottom of the page to Scroll to top and Toggle scrolling navigation.

  5. Navigate to Admin console ❯ Metadata and templates.

    Select a metadata standard, iso19139, and press the Load samples button.
