We have updated the visual appearance of our documentation, with light and dark themes, and improved search.
Catalogue services
Catalog services have been updated to the latest GeoNetwork Enterprise 2023.1 release.
This is a significant update, changing the search engine from Apache Lucene to Elasticsearch.
Mapping Services
New feature:
- IAU authority support
- Printing extension updates for PDF generation
- URL Checks are now on by default.
If you have not previously enabled this setting be advised that URL Checks are now enabled. If you encounter any integration difficulties with external systems you may disable this setting, or we would be happy to assist you in adding additional external systems to the allow-list.
- Technology preview: OAUth 2 / OpenID Connect (OIDC)
- This update addresses several security vulnerabilities.
GeoCat has been been instrumental in revising GeoServer Coordinated Disclosure Policy, resulting in CVE numbers being assigned for public disclosure. Contact support directly to discuss list of known security vulnerabilities.
