This year’s Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial conference brought us to the Balkan. Organized by the OSGeo foundation, the event was held in the stunning city of Mostar, where history and hospitality set the stage for connecting with the geospatial community. The venue buzzed with energy and in the evenings, we had the chance to listen to local music and enjoy the relaxed pace of this beautiful town.
Engaging with the Community
At the main conference area, on the University campus, GeoCat enjoyed connecting with familiar faces and meeting new ones. Our booth served as a hub for conversations and our popular tote bags were gone in no time!
Talks and Insights
The week was packed with informative talks and productive chats. Our team contributed with several presentations, and we were glad to hear so many updates from key projects pushing the geospatial ecosystem forward.
Special thanks to Marko and his team who made FOSS4G 2025 in Mostar such a success. We’re already looking forward to seeing everyone again next year!
