User interface:

Bugfix: On the French UI login page, forgot password option information messages are displayed in French.

Metadata:

Bugfix: The position of the information note in the metadata file store panel of the Add thumbnail dialog has been fixed.
Bugfix: With the metadata workflow enabled, generating a thumbnail with a map doesn't work for metadata working copies.
Bugfix: When ownership of a metadata was transferred to an admin user, the metadata group was changed to a special application group, but should be preserved.
Bugfix: Removed empty xml namespace in the describe service output for INSPIRE ATOM remote feeds, that was producing an invalid document.
Improvement: The French translations of the ISO Topic categories have been improved.
Improvement: Support integration of external applications to manage metadata related tasks, an example could be an application to help produce metadata translation into different languages.
Improvement: Metadata editor / use hierarchical layer selector to select OGC:WMS map layers in Associated resources dialog. In previous versions, the OGC:WMS map layers selector didn't display the hierarchy of groups / layers defined in the OGC:WMS service.

Map viewer:

Bugfix: the slider to define the transparency of the layers was displayed exceeding the limits of the panel in the French version.

Administration:

Bugfix: Harvesters / When updating the configuration, the harvester's last run date was cleared.
Bugfix: In User Interface configuration, the help text of the URL application field of the different modules (Home, Search, Editor, Administration), has been replaced by a more generic one.
Improvement: The functionality that allows the administrator to reset the password of any user has been restored.

This functionality is disabled by default, for security reasons.

Improvement: Add Heritrix crawler to the list of user-agents that don't create a session in GN while crawling. This user-agent is used by sitearchief.nl for example (geonetwork/core-geonetwork#6263).
